Masons Help Community Again

For the thirteenth consecutive year, the Masonic Temple in Haddonfield hosted performances for Haddonfield’s First Night, a family friendly, alcohol free evening of entertainment featuring more than sixty internationally recognized entertainers, artists and musicians, plus fireworks and a countdown show which was held New Year’s Eve from 6 pm to midnight. The twelve dollar button provided admission to various venues downtown with trolley transportation between Warwick Road and the high school. Kings Highway was closed for the duration.

The Temple hosted the Kings Court Strings (twice) and a re-enactment of “Henry Box Brown” by Keith Henley. Over 400 people enjoyed the evening in our Temple.

Helping this year with the Rising Sun Lodge was Todd Agostini, Keith Herman, Joseph Kennedy, Michael Phillips, David Frankel, Mark Friedrich and David Leeds for on site set up which required transport of 100+ chairs from the Banquet Hall to the Lodge room. Performance Monitors were Mark & Rita Friedrich, Fred & Dottie Domako and David Frankel. The Lodge Site Manager was David Leeds and the Community Contact was Benjamin Parvey. Many thanks to all.

The members of the lodge who helped received a free admission button for the evening’s entertainment.
