18th Masonic District, honored Rising Sun Lodge at the Installation of Officers for 2011

During Rising Sun’s December 2010 celebratory banquet and installation of new officers, RW Leonard M. March, District Deputy Grand Master for the 18th Masonic District, honored Rising Sun Lodge by returning to our archives the Charters of our three predecessor Lodges, which were surrendered at last April’s Grand Lodge Communication to then Grand Master William H. Berman on the occasion of Rising Sun’s formation by consolidation.  Called upon to receive the charters, and pictured in the foreground from left to right, were Worshipful Brother Paul R. Schmeck, the last Worshipful Master of Haddonfield-Cherry Hill Lodge No. 15 and the first Worshipful Master of Rising Sun Lodge, RW Raymond R. Newkirk PGC, the last Worshipful Master of Henry S. Haines Lodge No. 253, RW Leonard M. March DDGM, and Worshipful Brother David L. Preissman, the last Worshipful Master of Mizpah-Haddon Heights Lodge No. 191.
